The Worthy Prez sez….

I would like to start out by extending a special thanks to Worthy President Vaughn Fickies and to all of our 2003-2004 Aerie Officers for a great job this past year. The  installation of 2004-2005 Officers will June 6th at 1pm. All members are encouraged to attend to this ceremony to support our recently elected Aerie Officers as they are installed into their respective office.

Once again our Aerie is honored to have one of our Past Presidents elected as District 12 Chairman.  Congratulations to Dave Huggard PWP on his election and installation as Chairman and to outgoing Chairman Tom McCarthy PWP who will now serve as Jr. Past Chairman of District 12.

May slipped by quickly with a flurry of activity that included the Wing Ding Dinner and Moonlight Darts for the Aerie and Auxiliary President’s Charity capped off by our Vegas Night.

We look forward to the start of a busy summer with the Hoedown Euchre Tournament on June 7th at 7:00 pm, the Golf Outing on June  12th and our ever popular Pontoon Parade on July 3rd in addition to all our other activities.

We still need input on events you would like to have at our Club.  If you would like to volunteer to chair or work at a function let us know. These events cannot happen without the support and help of our members.

In closing, please remember our military personnel and their families in your prayers.

Worthy President Elect

The Madam Prez sez…

Ladies, a situation has arisen in the Auxiliary which finds us without an Auxiliary President or Vice President.  The Auxiliary cannot conduct business or function as an Auxiliary without these two offices being filled.

My commitment to the Auxiliary remains strong, however at this time my commitments to my husband and family are stronger.  Therefore, I cannot take on the obligations that come with the office of President.

It has been both a privilege and honor to serve the Auxiliary for the past year.  I feel it’s time for the back street quarterbacks and critics to step forward and assume some of the responsibilities that our past officers have done such a wonderful job of fulfilling.  The past officers and those that have served with me deserve the respect and admiration of all Auxiliary members.  We have people who have worked very hard to build a strong and viable Auxiliary.

We will be having nominations and an election to fill these two open offices on June 26th at 12:00 pm.  I would urge all Auxiliary members to search their hearts and step forward to keep our Auxiliary strong.

Madam President

Toni McCarthy
