| The Worthy Prez sez…. Mother Nature has certainly provided a multitude of challenges for us over the past few months, but with Easter a few weeks away, Spring can’t be far behind. Even with the snow and ice, our members continue to support our special events and club improvements. A special thanks to everyone who organized and attended the benefit dinner for Lana Layton. It definitely reflected the love and compassion of our members. The ladies restroom in the social room is completed. Thanks to Fred Marszlek for the excellent work on the petitions. We are in the process of improving the heating system in the social room. When completed, the temperature will be more uniform and comfortable. Furthermore, we are also investigating installing smoke-eaters in the banquet room and social room. We have another Euchre Night scheduled against Gladwin on Tuesday, March 2, at 7 P.M. Proceeds are for our dual charity, Council On Aging. Sign-up sheet is on the board. We will be playing at Gladwin. Don’t forget that we will be hosting the District Meeting on Sunday, March 14.
