The Worthy Prez sez….

I would like to start by thanking all of our members for a great summer at our Club.

I would also like to extend a special thanks to Bob Town and crew for another great Euchre Tournament for the Aerie and Auxiliary President’s Charity. Because of their efforts and all of the people who played in this summers tournaments, we have raised over $1500 for Hospice.

This year’s Pig Roast was great. Vaughn and our crew of volunteers did a fantastic job preparing and serving the meats. Afterwards, Bob Adado rocked the Club with a very memorable performance.

The first of our Charity Dinners was country ribs expertly prepared by volunteers from the Aerie and Auxiliary. Our Worthy Vice President, Mike Pigula is chairing these events and if you have ideas or would like to volunteer let us know.

Also be sure to mark your calendars for Labor Day Weekend. This year we will be having a Vegas Night on Saturday. Join us and challenge the house for an event that is always a fun night for all.

Tom Harris is chairing a Texas Hold’em Tournament on September 27th. This is something new and challenging for our members to try!

In closing, please remember our service personnel in your prayers and may they be home soon.

Jerry Adair
Worthy President
