The Worthy Prez sez…. Welcome back snowbirds and all of our members that we have missed this past winter. We have had a great winter and summer promises to be even better! Plans are being made for the holidays, our annual pig roast, the 20th Anniversary party and more. Watch the newsletter or website for details. I would like to thank everyone who volunteered in the kitchen and worked at the St. Patrick’s Party. In spite of bad weather we had an excellent turnout and everyone who attended had a great time. Nominations for Aerie offices will be held at the April 24th meeting. Members wishing to run for an office must be present to accept the nomination or submit a letter of acceptance to the Aerie Secretary prior to nomination. The vote for contested offices will be held on May 14th. In closing, please remember the families of friends who have suffered losses or illness and the service men/women serving our country in your prayers. Jerry Adair Worthy President Chaplain’s Report Unfortunately since our last newsletter we have suffered the loss of three members – Charles O’Rourke, Irvin Busch and William McMurphy. Our sympathy and condolences go out to the families of our lost brothers. On a brighter note we are seeing the return, slow as it is, of some of our “snowbirds”. It is always lifting to meet and greet the members we have missed during the long winter and hear tales of their exploits while gone.
