The Worthy Prez sez…. It looks as though we are over the hill from the grip of another Michigan winter. We are looking forward to your return to the area, opening cabins and getting summer toys ready to go as well as the annual northern migration of our “Snowbirds”. On January 22nd we had a Wing Ding Dinner for Hospice. I would like to thank all of our volunteers for donating their time and members who supported this event. We are going to have a Texas Hold’em Tournament with proceeds going to Hospice on March 26th. Tom Harris will be Chairing this event and a sign up sheet is at the bar. Remember to bring in your entry fee at time of registration. It is close to that time of year when we celebrate that famous patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick. In recognition of this event we will be having a St. Patrick’s Party on March 19th beginning at 4:00. Once again we will be having Reuben sandwiches on Friday from 5 to 9. On Saturday from 4 to 8 we will have Rueben sandwiches and a Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner. Come join in the fun on what is always a great day! Mark you calendars for our 20th Anniversary August 20th. The Committee for our party has been working hard planning a day of festivities to thank our members for 20 great years.
