We wish them well and we’ll see you in the spring. Our annual Michigan-Michigan State party is October 1st this year. Please come in and cheer on your team. We will be having a “Prom Night Party” on October 8th ,Oktoberfest dinner on October 15th from 4 pm till 8pm with entertainment to follow. Euchre tournaments are continuing. Watch the calendar for dates and times.

Our addition is complete. The new cooler and freezer are up and running. The building crew did a great job. I would like to thank all the volunteers who worked on all the different functions and dinners all summer long. We couldn’t have done it without you. In closing please remember the victims from hurricane Katrina in your prayers. They have a long road ahead of them to get back to where they were.

Auxiliary Chaplain Report
In the face of seemingly impossible problems, it is easy to believe that our most negative thoughts reflect the truth. Yet, the loudest voice is not necessarily the truest. No matter how insistent the feeling may be it is just a feeling not a prophecy. Sometimes it helps to stop, wait and remember that a positive outcome is as likely as a negative one. Believe in your heart not your thoughts or sometime the thoughts of others.

Get well cards were sent to Mabel Sarles, Mary Lay, Linda Oginski and Joanna Hollaway. Thinking of you cards were sent to Sherri Shaw.
