The Worthy Prez sez….

Well summer is winding down. I would like to thank all of our members and their guests for their outpouring of support for all of our functions, dinners, and fund raisers this summer. You are what keeps our aerie strong.

The pig roast and anniversary party were a great success. A good time was had by all. I would like to give special thanks to Larry Santamour and his committee for a great job on the anniversary party. It was a lot of work with a tremendous amount of planning. Well done.

Our addition is coming along fine. It will be completed soon. Euchre tournaments will be starting soon, watch for sign up sheets. Check the calendar for upcoming events.

Now for a little bit of housekeeping; the conduct of some members and guests in the social room has been brought to the attention of the officers and trustees. There have been instances of rudeness to the bartenders and staff, as well as foul language. This conduct will not be tolerated. They are there to serve you. Please show them the respect you would like in return. Remember, this is a family organization. Treat it like one.

In closing, please remember our troops in your prayers. Regards,

Mike Pigula
Worthy President

TO ALL OF OUR
VOLUNTEERS AND SUPPORTERS

Without all of you over these many years, our Aerie would not be as beautiful as it is and we would not have been able to do as much for the community. There have been so many committed people who have helped and are still helping. We cannot thank you enough. We are sometimes remiss in saying thank you, but please know that all of you and everything that you do is very much appreciated by all of us. We hope you are all proud of all we have accomplished in the Aerie and in the community. We believe that we have the best Aerie in Michigan because we have the best volunteers and members.

Pig Roast Update
The Pig Roast was a great success. Thanks to all of our members who came in to support us and to enjoy a great meal. The success of the Pig Roast would not have happened if it had not been for the special members from the Aerie and Auxiliary who spent their day volunteering their time. Thanks to all of you for doing such a great job.

Chaplain's Report

If we paid more attention to ourselves and to doing what we thought was best, we would be free to give without strings attached. Then we could truly be generous. Our Madam Chaplain has given so much to others and has asked nothing in return, but I would like to send all our love and prayers in her time of need now.We love you and miss you Dianne.Get well soon. Cards were sent to Dianne Pigula who had surgery ( No cancer found), Gail Osburn (Toxic Infection Kidneys)Hope Wendland passed away.Sympathy cards were sent to her daughters Karen Gawron & Sherri Strouse.Thinking of you card went out to Karen Hourtienne whose sister is having health problems.
