Anna Robinson Auxiliary Chaplain TRUSTEE’S CORNER Concern has been raised by several members about a need for more stringent checking of membership cards on our busy weekends and when there are special events. If you could volunteer a few hours “on the door” to help check cards please sign the sheet in the hall near the popcorn machine. Some members of the Auxiliary have already volunteered their time !! We would like to thank Russ & Cathy Norton for donating a quantity of silverware for our kitchen and the Auxiliary for purchasing additional large serving platters. We are considering a larger menu (in printed size, not expanded offerings) to accommodate more requests for advertising space. Anyone who might like to advertise should let the BOT’s be aware so we could plan accordingly. October 1st begins “Sports Sundays” and in addition to “Free Pool”, all drinks will be discounted 50 cents all day. And, as many of you have been waiting for, “Happy Hours” return Monday thru Thursday from 4-8 PM with 25 cents off all drinks. Lastly, we would like to remind our members that the sale of products not club related is prohibited within the Aerie. These are products that are for “personal profit” and do not benefit the club. Additionally, no signs are to be posted to that end. And on the subject of signs, please observe the proper bulletin boards for posting of notices. The hallway outside the bingo hall should only be used for Eagle or Aerie business & events only. There is a bulletin board outside the main door for other flyers and a board inside the door for people to leave their business cards. If in doubt, ask a Trustee or barstaff on duty. Thank you, BOT’s "We are people helping people” |
